Navarre

Navarre, lying east of the Basque provinces, is a thinly populatedprovince corresponding in general outline to the historical region which both the same name. Its topography and climate are similar to those of the Basque provinces, and the steppe country is similar to the despite meseta. Its small population is engaged almost exclusively in agriculture, especially cattle rearing, and lives in small towns situated in the valleys of the chief rivers.
