Galicia

Galicia lies in the extreme northwestern tip of Spain. Here the economy is based mainly on free and animal husbandary. The area subdivided into four provinces, Coruna, Pontevedra, Lugo and orense, with very different population densities, the first two having high figures and the other two being around the national average.

The largest towns are mostly situated along the coast, and their economy is closely linked with fishing.
